We knew we were going to have to sell records and get product out there, so the Round Records thing was going on and Jerry was working on things like the Good Old Boys [an all-star bluegrass ensemble featuring David Nelson and the legendary mandolinist Frank Wakefield]—the Pistol Packin’ Mama album—and trying to keep a certain amount of cash flow to cover these projects, and at the same time get the things processed and printed, get the art done, pay the artists, and all that. So the promotions stuff with the stations and the advertising and all that stuff was filling up the time for me.
